Da'Maurion Jarien Dunham, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 9, 2025, in Houston, Texas at the tender age of 17. Born on January 12, 2008, in Houston, he brought light into the lives of those around him from the very beginning. Da'Maurion is remembered for his loving spirit, strong sense of loyalty, and an innate desire to protect his family and friends.
He attended C.E. King High School, where he formed lasting friendships and left a positive mark on the community. Da'Maurion was known for his vibrant personality and his dedication to those he cared about. He often felt an urge to stand as a protector, always looking out for others and ensuring they felt valued and safe.
Da'Maurion is survived by his loving mother, LaToya Sanders ( Kerri Bailey ) and his father, Brian Dunham. He treasured his relationships with his siblings, Ka'Leil Young, Teaonna Dunham, and Koya Bailey, as well as his beloved son, Zyion Lawrence.
His legacy continues through his grandparents, Shirley Young, Herman Young, Carolyn Mason, Leonard Mason, and Byron Dunham, who instilled values of love and resilience in him. He also leaves behind three aunts and eight uncles who will carry forward his memory.
As we reflect on the life of Da'Maurion Dunham, we celebrate a young man whose spirit touched many. He will be dearly missed by friends from Forest Brook and C.E. King High School, all of whom were fortunate to know him. Da'Maurion’s love and warmth will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.
