With profound sorrow and heartfelt reverence, we announce the passing of Shanti Desha Dennis, who peacefully left us on April 13, 2026. Born on March 31, 1980, Shanti lived a life marked by vibrant energy and an outgoing spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A proud graduate of Conroe High School, Shanti was known for her exciting and engaging personality. She carried herself with a gentle strength and warmth that brought comfort and light to those around her. Whether through her radiant smile, kind words, or mere presence, she left a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.

Shanti’s life, though too brief, was filled with meaningful connections and cherished moments. She was a devoted mother to her beloved children Journey, Ja’La, Syler, and Kash. Her enduring love and guidance shaped their lives profoundly, leaving a legacy that will continue to shine through them.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Rubie Marie Dennis, and paternal relative Jacqueline Jean Dennis. Her Children Journey , Ja ‘La, Syler, Kash  Her siblings, Gamarica, Dansekia, and Earnest Dennis, along with a host of nieces and nephews, remember her fondly and carry her spirit in their hearts. Special mention goes to her nephews, Krishund Parrish Jr and Kavon Parrish, and her nieces, Ramyja and Ramani Jefferson, who held a special place in her life.

Shanti’s presence was a source of joy and strength to all, and though the world feels a little dimmer without her, the love she shared and the memories created will forever remain with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched.
